This week (January 7th), BBC Wales celebrates five hidden Welsh heroines and discuss the effect they had on Modern Wales. We worked with BBC Wales to create a child-friendly addition to Parasol Media’s main films, geared specifically at key stage two junior school pupils. Short and sweet, our 3 minute archive-lead films places these fantastic women in the context of the myriad of developments in Wales’ history between the late 19th century and the present day.
At 09:45 on Christmas eve, S4C will broadcast a Christmas edition of Oli Wyn.
In this episode, Oli Wyn and a group of year 1 and 2 pupils from Ysgol Glan Morfa in Cardiff, take a closer look at how Cardiff Council went about decorating the city centre.
The youngsters were a pleasure to film and sang beautifully outside the Castle, despite the cold!
Channel 5’s popular cartoon, ‘Shane the Chef ‘ will air on S4C next year.
We’re delighted to be working with the producers,
Ho Ho Entertainment on re-versioning ‘Shane’ from English to Welsh.
As well as working with excellent, experienced voice artists such as:
Steffan Rhodri; Eiry Thomas; Geraint Morgan and Siôn Pritchard,
we’ve cast 4 delightful youngsters.
We’re delighted that S4C has re-commissioned our pre-school vehicle show, ‘Oli Wyn’.
Filming began in September, kicking off in North Wales filming one of Hufenfa De Arfon’s milk tankers; then a diesel train at the Snowdon Mountain Railway and last, but not least, The Great Orme Tramway in Llandudno.
Thanks to Storm Helene, the weather wasn’t always great, but the welcome was as warm as can be!
Series 2 will air in the Spring of 2019
